Who We Are

KIDS-HUB Society is licensed by the territorial Department of Education, Culture and Employment - Early Years Unit for a total of 28 childcare spaces with children between the ages of 3 months to twelve years. Our center offers the highest quality care and enriching educational experiences for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, providing a nurturing environment while their parents or guardians are at work. 

NWT Child Day Care Act (2023) and its accompanying regulations form the basis for the licensing procedure. We participate in the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) System administered through NWT Government. The CWELCC system is a five-year plan (2021-2026) that is being implemented in stages, to make childcare more accessible and affordable. Fees will reduce every year, reaching an average fee of $10/day by 2025-2026. The CWELCC system supports quality, accessibility, affordability, and inclusivity in licensed childcare.

KIDS-HUB is located at 118 Haener Drive, in the Niven Community, east of Yellowknife.
